| Rose Garden Walk About |
The Lake Harriet Rose Garden and surrounding areas are one of my favorite places to go for a short walk. The Minneapolis city gardeners at the Mpls. Park Board do a beautiful job of planting, watering and maintaining the gardens.
After dinner at David Fong's in Bloomington, we decided to drive out to the gardens for a short walk and see what photos we could create before sunset. The high contrast scenes were difficult for the digital technology on my photo to capture it. But I think this one looks good and I added an Instagram filter to minimize the contrast a little.
Fortunately, we were able to walk around for about 45 minutes and just enjoy the beautiful evening.
What a lovely mild evening, much cooler than last year on August 9th.
