BRING YOUR BRAND

Bring your brand wherever you go, especially to your photographer before your next professional portrait.
I've had the honor this year to speak about "How to Strategically Use Your Photographs" and "How to Bring Out Your Best Professional Image."
Most recently it really hit me how important it is for you, before you invest the time and money in a new professional portrait, to collaborate with brand professionals to:
(1) know your inner brand and try to visualize how that brand can be externalized.
(2) be able to articulate your brands' personality
(3) create your brand image with the right colors and clothes
(4) understand how your brand changes as you and your business matures
(5) bring your brand and your personal image to a professional photographer
This investment in time and self-knowledge can truly pay off big dividends.
We recently created new portraits for Rebecca Metz of Modern Inconveniences, www.modernincon.com, a client whose brand had changed considerably since we photographed her 14 months ago. The internal difference in her brand was the difference between night and day. Last time her brand was all about her company's technical expertise so we had several portraits with her equipment in hand.
This time it was all about her brand statement to "help businesses earn six figure incomes through the systems she can teach." WOW! What a difference!
She was well-prepared, had consulted with Ditto & Co. www.ditto&co.com for an image consultation and knew the brand image she was looking to create. The word we focused on during the session was POWER and I could truly feel and see her powerful spirit when photographing her. The comments she is receiving are unanimously positive and impressed with her new brand image. see photos above.
Understanding YOUR brand is vital to the success of your business portraits for job seekers, entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 companies so that you convey your brands' image, personality and mission. Do your current photographs leave a positive impression about you and your brand?
